Psalm 92

2 Chronicles 34:22-33

With this passage, I am thinking back to my Confirmation. It was a special day, when I pledged my faith in the Lord for myself. At my Baptism, my parents and sponsors did this for me. Finally, I was educated to understand and speak for myself.

I pledge my faith to God each time I read His Word, attend church, attend Sunday School, carry out an act of Christian kindness, reject Satan and evil temptations...the list goes on and on. It's like I am able to confirm my faith every day, should I choose to do so. God gives me the opportunity. It is up to me to take that hold of it.

The people made a huge, important deal about the ark of the covenant of the Lord. As they should have!

Do people make a big deal about honoring God today? How do I show God that He is important? Am I doing enough?
