The First Mother

Read Genesis 4:1-26.

OK - God is so cool. I just posted the verse 1 Peter 5:8 in an earlier post, right? Well, take a look at Genesis 4:7. Once again, too different devotionals tied together by God's hand. This tells me that God really, really, really wants me to be on the look-out for the devil this week. He must really be prowling around since I have been so faithful in God's Word...

Good One!

I came across this verse while reading from my Martin Luther devotional book this morning, and I wanted to share it with you. This is a good one to read each morning, as I start my day!

Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. ~ 1 Peter 5:8
